From Piazzale Roma continue as far as the Church of the Frari, inside which you can admire works of art by Canova, Tiziano and Donatello. Nearby you will also find the Great School of San Rocco, which houses works by Tintoretto, Tiziano and other artists from the Venetian School. From here you can proceed as far as the Galleria dell’Accademia, the largest collection present in Venice, which houses the most important collection of Venetian paintings as well as works by Giorgione and Leonardo da Vinci, among which, the drawings of the Vitruvian Man. After visiting the Museum, you can enjoy a relaxing walk as far as Punta della Dogana and from here, visit the beautiful and mysterious Church of Madonna della Salute (Our Lady of Health), the masterly work of Longhena. From the Chiesa della Salute you can reach St. Mark’s Square via water bus no. 1 and from there take no. 82 as far as the island of San Giorgio, from where you will be able to enjoy one of the most suggestive and photogenic views over St. Mark’s Basin. Take water bus no. 82 again and this time get off at Giudecca island, an old Jewish quarter, where you will also find the ancient Chiesa del Redentore (Church of the Redeemer). Take water bus no. 82 again and get off at Zattere, from here you will be able to go on one of Venice’s most beautiful walks, through the Fondamenta delle Zattere. From here you can return to Piazzale Roma either on foot or by taking water bus no. 52.
